Good balance of subject matter: policy, implementation and implications (lessons learned). Good briefers with relevant experiences.
Gary Goodrich, Principal Systems Engineer, LMCO
Wow! These guys came in with “real world” experiences and took the time and effort to present the information in an organized manner. What a wealth of knowledge they freely shared. Thanks!
Terry Gaumer, Operations Analyst, Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems, Western Region
Why should I attend?
In just a few short years, Lean Six Sigma has become a vital application to the US military and the defense industry. New programs and approaches have freed wasted resources, lowered repair costs and time, increased efficiency, and slashed spending. As a result, this past May, Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England mandated that all of the DoD implement Lean Six Sigma practices. So it is no longer nice to have – it is a requirement!
IDGA’s 7th Lean Six Sigma for Defense is a forum focusing on the evolving roles,
methodologies, and requirements of LSS within developing directorates and programs.
With a speaker faculty featuring some of the best LSS implementers across the
Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and greater DoD, attendees benefit from lessons
learned and case studies of gains achieved from initial transformation through project
completion.
